Shining new light on the game day experience at America’s largest mall

The Project

Sports retail giant, Lids, teamed up with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to open a 20,000 sq. ft. flagship store in the Mall of America, offering fans a wide variety of NBA and WNBA official team and league-branded merchandise and collectibles to shop from while providing shoppers with a fully interactive retail experience that embodies the high-energy, immersive atmosphere of professional basketball.

Our Solution

Provided a full track lighting package with:

  • 379 track heads
  • 17 recessed cans
  • 20 high-bay fixtures
  • 24 emergency lighting fixtures

The Result

  • A comprehensive track lighting system featuring nearly 380 adjustable LED track heads and the corresponding track layout, delivering precise, flexible illumination throughout the space
  • Stunning, energy-efficient lighting that highlights featured products and contributes to the overall retail experience
